Currently a middle school student, Sam balances academics, basketball, and volunteering with remarkable dedication. As a member of the Siletz basketball team, Sam stays active and embraces the teamwork that the sport and the fire district have in common. Sam’s passion for helping others is matched by an interest in mental health awareness and suicide prevention, important causes that inspire a desire to make a difference.

When not at school or volunteering, Sam enjoys cooking and baking—an outlet for creativity and a great way to share joy with friends and family. Hawaii ranks as Sam’s dream travel destination, though home life with two beloved cats, Fluffy and Mittens, is equally cherished.

Sam’s journey with the fire district has already brought meaningful experiences, like the camaraderie felt at the annual Christmas party, where a sense of belonging truly solidified. Known for excellent communication and a quick ability to learn, Sam values the supportive and understanding environment the fire district provides.

With dreams of one day attending Western University and a commitment to helping others in need, Sam is just beginning a bright path of personal and professional growth. Whether it's on the basketball court, in the kitchen, or at the fire station, Sam’s enthusiasm and determination leave a lasting impression on everyone around.
