Robert Kilgore

Robert Kilgore is a devoted firefighter and EMT, deeply committed to serving his community. Born in Boise, Idaho, in 1992, Robert's journey has been shaped by a strong sense of duty and an eagerness to help others. Growing up, he was always drawn to roles that required dedication and quick thinking, which naturally led him to a career in public service.

 

After graduating from high school in Newport, Oregon, in 2011, Robert pursued various roles, including Patrol Sergeant and Fleet Manager, before finding his true calling as a firefighter. He joined the Siletz Valley Fire District in 2024, bringing with him a wealth of experience and a passion for the fire service. His dedication to his work is evident in the numerous certifications and accomplishments he has achieved, including Firefighter 1, Vehicle Extrication, and Hazmat Operations.

 

Robert takes immense pride in being part of the Siletz Valley Fire District, where he enjoys the diversity of experiences and the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of others. He values the family-oriented environment of the district, which has warmly welcomed not only him but also his wife, Sarah, and their three children, Kenzington, Nova, and Cody.

 

Beyond his professional life, Robert is passionate about giving back to the community, especially through causes close to his heart. The Shriners Hospital holds special significance for him, as they have provided invaluable support to his daughter, Nova, who was born with bilateral clubfoot. This personal connection has fueled Robert’s dedication to helping others and supporting organizations that make a difference.

 

In his downtime, Robert loves spending time with his family and their three dogs, Kai, Colt, and Cooper. Whether exploring new travel destinations or enjoying quiet moments at home, family time is his greatest joy.

 

Robert’s long-term goals include furthering his education and eventually becoming an officer within the fire service. He encourages younger generations to live life to the fullest, reminding them that every moment is an opportunity to grow and make a positive impact.

 

With his extensive knowledge, hands-on experience, and unwavering commitment to public service, Robert Kilgore is a valuable asset to the Siletz Valley Fire District and an inspiration to his colleagues and community alike.
