Erik Maiorano
Erik Maiorano has spent 30 years serving his community in the fire service. He was born in Phoenix, Arizona but has lived in Oregon most of his life, Erik has always had a passion for adventure and making a difference.
After joining the Siletz Fire District in 2023, he continues to pursue his calling. When not working, Erik can be found fly fishing, exploring Central Oregon, or cheering on the Pittsburgh Steelers. He is also dedicated to preserving natural waterways for future generations of fishermen.
With a strong background in fire science and emergency management, Erik has earned numerous awards, including Rookie of the Year and Firefighter of the Year. His greatest accomplishment, however, is watching the firefighters he has trained succeed in their careers.
Erik's philosophy is simple: find a career you love, and never stop learning. As an experienced emergency management coordinator, Erik has worked with various organizations, honing his expertise in training and leadership development. He has received a FEMA grant while working for Newberg Fire for intercom and headset systems and is committed to making a positive impact in every aspect of his life.
When not on duty, Erik enjoys quality time with his wife, Carrie, and their daughter, Hanna, exploring the beautiful Oregon coast and discovering new hidden gems.
